Thibault Mathieu

Thibault Mathieu is a creative producer and founder of Wilkins Avenue, a new consulting & production company specializing in narrative, immersive experiences. With a focus on location-based entertainment, Wilkins Avenue is developing a slate of premium AR & VR out-of-home experiences in partnership with brands, theme parks and entertainment centers. Current projects in development include "Liv's World" - a narrative AR experience running on the Magic Leap headset -, which will premiere at the 2019 Paris Comic Con, and several other free-roaming VR & AR experiences created for LBE.

Prior to founding Wilkins Avenue, Thibault Mathieu served as Head of Creative Innovation, VR & AR at Webedia Group – a leading, global digital media & entertainment group with more than 4 billion YouTube views each month. At Webedia, Mathieu produced and conceived event VR & AR experiences for major European brands such as SNCF and Futuroscope. He worked on VR & AR concepts for Disneyland Paris, Maybelline, Samsung, and many others. Mathieu also served as board member of the Uni-XR think tank. Previously, he co-founded WESAWIT, a fan-engagement platform for the live-entertainment industry, where he worked with high-profile clients such as AEG and Live Nation. Thibault Mathieu was mentored by Carlton Cuse (showrunner: "Lost", "Bates Motel", "The Strain", "Colony"). He holds an MFA from UCLA and a Master's degree from SKEMA Business School. He lives in Paris, France, with his wife and their two children.
