John Zois

John Zois joined Anton in February to oversee Production and Acquisitions on both their Film and US TV operations. Since joining, Zois has acquired and will produce David Slade’s COME CLOSER as well as Chase Palmer’s feature directorial debut NAKED SINGULARITY starring John Boyega, Olivia Cooke and Bill Skarsgard. Additionally, Zois is currently overseeing production of THE NIGHT HOUSE to be directed by David Bruckner starring Rebecca Hall and produced by David Goyer as well as GREENLAND to be directed by Ric Roman Waugh starring Gerard Butler and produced by Basil Iwanyk.

Prior to joining Anton, Zois was the Head of Acquisitions & Production at Global Road Entertainment where he acquired such films as Marc Munden’s THE SECRET GARDEN from producer David Heyman starring Colin Firth, THE SILENCE starring Kiernan Shipka and Stanley Tucci, and HOTEL ARTEMIS starring Jodie Foster and Sterling K. Brown.

Zois was serving as SVP of Production & Acquisitions at IM Global prior to its purchase and merging with Open Road. There he worked on such films as THE PROFESSOR starring Johnny Depp, Drake Doremus’ ZOE starring Ewan McGregor and Lea Seydoux, and Reed Morano’s I THINK WE’RE ALONE NOW starring Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning.

Before joining IM Global, Zois served as the VP of Acquisitions at EuropaCorp working on films such as MISS SLOANE directed by John Madden starring Jessica Chastain as well as Shane Black’s THE NICE GUYS starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. From 2010 – 2014, Zois worked at FilmNation Entertainment on such films as ROOM directed by Lenny Abrahamson starring Brie Larson, Denis Villeneuve’s ARRIVAL, David Michod’s THE ROVER and JC Chandor’s A MOST VIOLENT YEAR.

Zois began his career at the Gersh Agency and AMC Theatres and is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
